Sclerotherapy

Sclerotherapy is a safe and virtually painless non-surgical method of treating spider and small varicose veins. The procedure involves an injection of a mild sclerosing solution into the vessel. Over a period of a few days, the vessel walls will shrink and the unsightly veins begin to fade.

Larger vessels will take a few weeks to disappear. Depending on the severity of the disease, it may require up to five injections to treat any vessel. Normal activities may be resumed immediately after treatment.
